PPP Lahore Division

پاکستان پیپلز پارٹی لاہور ڈویژن

The party was born in this city. The Lahore Division chapter organises ten towns, 433 union councils and thirteen allied wings.

Born in Lahore

The Pakistan Peoples Party's founding convention was held in Lahore on 30 November 1967, at the Gulberg residence of Dr Mubashir Hasan. From that drawing room, the party grew into a movement of millions. No other city holds this place in the party's story.

A city of milestones

Lahore hosted the Islamic Summit of 1974. It gave Benazir Bhutto her historic welcome in April 1986, when crowds stretched from the airport towards Minar-e-Pakistan. It has been the stage for the party's defining jalsas, including the one planned at Greater Iqbal Park on 25 July 2026.

The division today

PPP Lahore Division is organised from the divisional secretariat down to the ward level: division, district, ten towns, 433 union councils and their wards, alongside thirteen allied wings for youth, students, women, minorities, labour, doctors, traders and more.
